A weight lifting belt is often the most visible accessory a lifter owns, which makes it a strong private label product. KnurlForge makes weight lifting belts for fitness equipment brands, gyms and studios, sporting goods retailers, distributors and e-commerce sellers — leather and suede belts with single-prong, double-prong or lever buckles, nylon belts with hook-and-loop closures, powerlifting belts and dip belts — finished with your logo, colors and packaging.
- Leather, suede-faced leather and nylon webbing belts
- Single-prong, double-prong, lever and hook-and-loop closures
- Tapered or uniform-width designs; thickness set per SKU
- Embossed, debossed, printed or embroidered logos

Weight lifting belt types we make
- Tapered leather belts — wider at the back and narrower at the front buckle; a common general-gym design.
- Uniform-width leather belts — the same width all the way round, typically with a prong or lever buckle; see powerlifting belts.
- Nylon / webbing belts — a padded nylon body with a wide hook-and-loop closure and a cinch buckle; lighter and quick to adjust, popular for functional-fitness gyms and e-commerce.
- Lever-buckle belts — a metal lever that clamps the belt closed; lever position is adjustable with a screwdriver.
- Dip belts — a different product: a belt with a chain used to hang plates or kettlebells for dips and pull-ups.
Materials, thickness and buckles
Leather belts are made from layered or solid cowhide or buffalo leather, often with a suede face, and sometimes a synthetic leather (PU) for entry price points. Thickness and width are specified per SKU — the guide lists the formats buyers commonly ask for. Edges can be painted, burnished or bound, and stitching is set per design.
Nylon belts use nylon or polyester webbing over foam padding with a hook-and-loop closure and a metal or plastic cinch buckle. Buckles come in steel or alloy, in plated, powder-coated or anodized finishes, and lever buckles can be quoted with your logo engraved. We describe construction only: this site makes no claims that any belt supports, protects or improves anything — those are not claims we originate.
Sizing
Belts are sized by waist circumference measured where the belt is worn, with the hole or closure range covering each size. Most programs run XS–XXL; size ranges are set per brand. We confirm the measured range on the pre-production sample so your size chart matches the product. Details are in the specs & selection guide.
Branding and packaging
Leather belts take embossing, debossing or foil stamping on the back panel, plus printed designs on suede or smooth faces; nylon belts take printing, embroidery or woven labels. Buckles can be engraved. Belts ship in polybags, with a hang tag, in a printed box or a drawstring dust bag. See OEM & private label.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a leather and a nylon lifting belt?
Leather belts are stiffer and close with a prong or lever buckle; nylon belts are lighter, padded and close with hook-and-loop. We make both; the choice depends on your customers and price point.
Can you engrave our logo on a lever buckle?
Yes, buckle engraving is possible; it is quoted per SKU with the buckle finish.
Do you make belts for women’s ranges?
Yes — narrower widths, smaller size ranges and different colorways can be specified per program.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on material, color, logo method and packaging (stock designs in neutral polybags start lower than custom colors, molded logos or printed retail boxes); lead time depends on materials, customization and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Can you put performance or injury-protection claims on the packaging?
We print the packaging and insert content your team approves, but we do not originate or substantiate medical, injury-prevention or performance claims, and this site makes none. Product descriptions here cover materials, construction, sizing and customization only. Claims on your packaging are the brand owner’s responsibility under your market’s rules.
Are your products certified or tested?
We do not display certification badges or publish test data on this site. Requirements such as California Proposition 65 warnings, EU REACH substance declarations or CPSIA documentation for children’s items depend on your market and product; tell us what your market requires and the documentation is confirmed per order for your market on the quotation. We do not make medical, injury-prevention or performance claims for any product — ask on the inquiry form.
