Jump rope types we make

  • PVC jump ropes — solid PVC cord with plastic handles; the economical everyday rope for retail, gyms and school-supply distributors.
  • Speed ropes (coated steel cable) — thin PVC- or nylon-coated steel wire with slim handles and bearing swivels; popular with functional-fitness gyms and e-commerce brands.
  • Beaded (segmented) ropes — plastic beads threaded on a cord; colorful and audible, common for kids’ and school ranges and for freestyle skipping.
  • Weighted ropes — thicker PVC or rubber ropes and/or weighted handles; weights are specified per SKU.
  • Cordless (ropeless) ropes — handles with short weighted tethers instead of a full rope, for small spaces.
  • Counter / digital ropes — handles with a mechanical or electronic jump counter; battery and electronics documentation is confirmed per order for your market.

Handles, swivels and adjustment

Handles come in PP / ABS plastic, aluminum (anodized colors, laser-engravable), wood-look or real wood, and foam-covered grips. Handle length, diameter and weight are set per design. Swivels are plain bushings for entry ropes or ball-bearing swivels for speed ropes; the swivel type is specified per SKU.

Length adjustment uses screw caps inside the handle, external clips or simple knots, so one rope can be cut or adjusted to the user. Ropes are usually supplied around 9–10 ft (≈2.7–3 m) and shortened by the end user; exact length is set per SKU — see the sizing notes in our specs guide.

Rope materials

PVC cord (diameter set per SKU), coated steel cable (PVC or nylon coating over stranded steel wire), beaded cord (hard plastic beads on nylon), cotton or nylon braided rope for traditional ropes, and thick PVC or rubber for weighted ropes. PVC and coated items may need market-specific documentation (for example a Prop 65 assessment for California, REACH information for the EU, or CPSIA documentation if marketed for children), which is confirmed per order for the buyer’s market.

Logos, colors and packaging

Logos are pad-printed or screen-printed on plastic handles, laser-engraved on aluminum, debossed or printed on foam, or molded in for larger runs. Rope, handle and bead colors can be matched to your palette. Packaging options: polybag with header card, drawstring or zip pouch, mesh bag, color box, window box or tube — plus barcodes and marketplace labels. Jump ropes bundle easily with ab rollers and resistance band sets. See OEM & private label.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a PVC rope and a speed rope?

A PVC rope uses a solid PVC cord, usually with plastic handles; a speed rope uses a thin coated steel cable with slim handles and bearing swivels. We make both, plus beaded, weighted and cordless ropes.

Are jump ropes adjustable?

Yes. Most designs are supplied long and adjusted with screw caps, clips or knots. Length is set per SKU.

Can you laser-engrave aluminum handles?

Yes — anodized aluminum handles can be laser-engraved with your logo; plastic handles are pad- or screen-printed.

Do you supply jump ropes for schools and kids’ ranges?

Yes, through distributors and retailers. Children’s products may need CPSIA or other documentation, which is confirmed per order for the buyer’s market.

Can a jump rope be bundled with other accessories?

Yes — with ab rollers, resistance band sets or a carry pouch, as one SKU and one barcode.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on material, color, logo method and packaging (stock designs in neutral polybags start lower than custom colors, molded logos or printed retail boxes); lead time depends on materials, customization and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.

Are your products certified or tested?

We do not display certification badges or publish test data on this site. Requirements such as California Proposition 65 warnings, EU REACH substance declarations or CPSIA documentation for children’s items depend on your market and product; tell us what your market requires and the documentation is confirmed per order for your market on the quotation. We do not make medical, injury-prevention or performance claims for any product — ask on the inquiry form.
